Legal Shield – How it works and the opportunity

I’ve received a lot of interest from viewers about Legal Shield, how it works, and what some of the details are surrounding the program. This is a quick video that explains it, as concisely as I can, and a little of my story added as well.   Signing up as a member If you are interested in signing up, as I mentioned on the video, you can do so through this site. There are three plans to choose from. Expanded Plan – Provides the benefits of the Legal Shield program as well as the Identity Theft Protection package at a discounted savings. Legal Shield – All the features I mentioned in the video. If you have to pick only one package, get this one. Identity Theft Protection – This is the complete Identity Theft insurance program by itself.   You can read more from the experts themselves, or sign up … Read the rest…

Gun Safety – And other tricks

On January 19th of this year, the nation’s gun-owners decided to celebrate a national “Gun Appreciation” day. Great idea, right? No. Why? Six people at three different gun shows across the United States were hurt in what could have been fatal gun incidents. Sadly, all of them required hospital visits. Even more sadly, each of them could have been prevented. Yesterday millions of people turned out across the nation to show their support for the 2nd amendment. You/we should all know by now that NO one is going to report “1.999 million people NOT hurt on Gun Appreciation Day.” Why would they? But let an accident happen – especially one with a gun, and see what comes out of the wood work. That got me thinking about a video. Yes, there are lots of gun-safety videos out there. Apparently they aren’t watched by the people who NEED to watch them. … Read the rest…

My Apology to the President Of the United States (Barack Obama)

President Obama, On almost 99% of the views you and I have, we disagree. I didn’t vote for you and were I running for your office, I can assure you that you certainly wouldn’t have voted for me. Our agendas are different. Our beliefs are different. Everything about us is different. I’m going to share my thoughts here, briefly, and then leave you with a YouTube video I made earlier this evening regarding the subject. I am a member, and I refuse to use the adjective “proud”, of the NRA. I added my name to their roles this last year as a way to ensure someone is fighting for my rights as a gun owner. I’ve been dismayed the last month or so at some of the actions they have taken on behalf of  America’s gun owners, but today, Sir, well, as my mother is fond of saying “that takes … Read the rest…

President Obama’s 23 Executive Memorandums

Most of you today know the President revealed his 23 points today for how he was going to move forward handling the gun control issue. Not many sites revealed the full scope of his agenda, so I thought I’d just simply provide all twenty-three points here. My comments are in brackets under each item. My thoughts on the issues he pushed forward to Congress are contained in this video below. It was easier to do the video than type it all out. 1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system. [Why is this even an issue? Why hasn’t this been done already? But specifically what federal agencies and what “relevant data” are you referring to? I’d like specifics.] 2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from … Read the rest…

Facebook Charging To Contact Me: I Didn’t Do It

Have you seen this message? If you have, then please know I have NOTHING to do with it! What Is It? It’s true that Facebook is starting a new campaign to cut down on spam. It began with a campaign tested with Mark Zuckerburg (the founder of Facebook) and has now grown to include certain people Facebook determines to be celebrities. (Really? I meet the Facebook criteria for celebrity? I wish someone will tell my potential clients that! Maybe sales would sky-rocket!) As far as I know right now, this is a testing phase. To message a “normal” user you don’t know could cost you as much as $1 to bypass their “other messages” folder and have your message delivered to their inbox. If they are considered to be a celebrity by Facebook’s unknown-algorithm, then it will cost you $100. Do You Have To Use It? In short, no. It’s … Read the rest…

…and no one was hurt today.

I have an idea to calmly, politely, and en masse, reinforce our thoughts about gun control to Congress in a way that is both passive and yet personal at once. Obviously if you own your guns illegally, or plan to commit a massacre in the coming future, this doesn’t apply to you. When this came to me: It occurred to me when I was in a mall earlier today. I’m licensed in my state to concealed carry, and so I do. Why? Well the one place people ARE shooting other people lately seems to be malls, retail stores, theatres, and schools. Apparently, according to Congress, those are incredibly dangerous places to be lately. I can’t concealed (or open) carry in theatres or on a school ground, but otherwise, it’s almost always either on my side or tucked away behind my shirt. Lately, I’m more likely to have to defend myself … Read the rest…

Write your Representative

This article is in response to the pending ant-gun legislation currently before congress. I’ve done what I can do; I’ve blogged, Facebooked, Tweeted, and contacted every congressperson and senator that represents me. Now it’s your turn. If you don’t try to stop this legislation and don’t make your voice heard, you have no right to complain when they pass this bill and take your rights away. “He who allows oppression, shares the crime.” -Erasmus Darwin If you somehow remain unclear about what is going on within our Congress this session, I’d like to refer you to two articles I’ve written previously on the subject. Anti-Gun Legislation introduced by Senator Dianne Feinstein The truth about gun crimes, the second amendment, and what has happened in our country since Columbine. I spent the morning writing my congressmen, senators, any via this blog – anyone else who can be bothered to listen. Here is … Read the rest…

New Gun Legislation

If the Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s new law goes into effect, even my simple .22 above will be considered an assault rifle and I’ll have to forfeit it to the government upon my death, as opposed to passing it down to my kids like most of us do. Nice huh? Not to mention you can forget ever buying one like it again. Take a look at some of her goals with the new gun ban. Time is running out. Contact your representatives NOW if you want your rights preserved. Otherwise this woman appears ready to trample all over them. Looks like I’m about to max out my credit card before January 22nd. I wonder how much the new ban will increase “assault” weapons sales between now and January 22nd? This lady is an idiot! I’m too tired to put my usual flavor of commentary on this, so I’ll just cut and … Read the rest…
